Red Nose Day

Red Nose Day takes place this year on Friday 18th March. To raise awareness and to have a fun day, we will be holding a 'Dancethon' that will run all day until 20:00! We have a proposed timetable so that each Yr group has an hour of dancing throughout the school day, but we also have slots after school for those children with spare energy: KS1-15:30 to 16:30, Lower KS2 (Yr3 & 4)- 16:30 to 18:00, Upper KS2 (Yr5 & 6)-18:00 to 20:00. Should your child wish to attend, please drop them off at the main school gate and they can go straight into the school hall. We do ask that they are picked up promptly at the end of their session. Please rest assured that the children will be supervised at all times by members of staff. Please note that the Reception children will not be taking part in the after school sessions.

For a sum of your choice, using the link below, the children can come to school in 'dancing' attire. To ensure that the clothing is appropriate for a primary school setting, please read our Non-Uniform Day Dress Code as set out out below:

  • Short, skirts and dresses should be at least mid-thigh length
  • Low-cut trousers, shorts or necklines are not permitted
  • Strapless tops, strappy tops and vest tops are not permitted
  • Clothing should ensure that midriffs are covered
  • Flip flops and high heels are not permitted
  • Make-up is not permitted

We thank you for your co-operation in this matter.

It promises to be a great day!!
