YEAR 5 - St Luke & St James

Welcome to Year 5 - St James & St Luke smiley

Excavating Beowulf’s Barrow. This morning Year 5 were archaeologists and ‘dug up’ some artefacts from an unknown tomb. We used the artefacts as clues to figure out that the owner was probably a wealthy warrior-king in Anglo-Saxon times. We thought about the main use of the objects as well as the materials they were made from.
