WHOLE SCHOOL PE

Week beginning 13th July 2020

 

This is the final challenge and it is one that will get your heart rate racing. How challenging will you make your exercise wheel? Joe Wicks has used an exercise wheel during his PE with Joe sessions so you may have some good ideas from that. Don’t forget there will also be a challenge posted on the school Facebook Page from Mr Johnston to challenge you even more!  Good luck smiley

VIRTUAL SPORTS WEEK

We have provided a short video of each event demonstrated by our coaching staff. As you know we want every pupil in your school to participate in our Virtual Sports Week with all events being able to be practiced and completed from home and in school, so please for the best results have the information shared with your whole school and on your website/social media platforms.

 

SCORING 

We have provided you with a scoring sheet for each class so please forward this to each class teacher to begin completing. The score sheet has specific timings, distances etc for each year group and the document is intuitive and easy to complete. We would recommend practicing these events several times and incorporating them into their outdoor PE over the coming weeks. Those pupils working from home can be practicing each day doing so with their family would be a nice idea. The scoresheet has been formulated so that once the pupils results are added they will be formatted automatically into their ranking across the class.​

 

The final date for submitting your class/schools results will be Wednesday 08th July. This gives your school 3 weeks from today to get practicing and perfecting those 8 events.

Teamtheme have 2 videos going up each week

1) Move it Monday - which is a 30 second challenge you have to complete

    and try to get your best score.
 

2) Fun fitness Friday. Which is 6 activities you must try and complete as

    many repetitions of each within an allotted time

KS1 = 20 seconds

Years 3&4 = 40 seconds
Years 5&6 = 1min

The aim is to try and improve over the week by practicing each day.
