• Police Visit!

  We had the wonderful privilege of welcoming PC Jordan Powell in to St Mary’s today. (Although the children thought he was called PC Power!💥) 

  The EYFS and Y1 children were fascinated looking around his police van and listening to the four different types of siren and even making up dances to match each sound.🚨 We all enjoyed trying on PC Powell’s uniform!

  The Y3 children enjoyed finding out more about PC Powell’s role, especially how handcuffs work! The rest of the school enjoyed talking to him during break time and I’m sure we will be booking a return visit soon. 

  Thank you PC Powell, we’re glad that you enjoyed your lunch with the children too.

  World Book Day 2024 - Fundraising Campaign

   

  In the build up to World Book Day this year, we are asking our school community to donate towards the purchase of the Read For Empathy primary collection of books. These books really support the ethos and values of St Mary's Catholic Primary School and we hope that you will be able to support us in raising the funds to purchase these. A donation of just £1.50 per child in school would take us over our fundraising aim; let's see how much we can raise together before the 7^th March!
