EYFS/YEAR 1 - St Anne, St Antony & St Andrew

Welcome to EYFS/Year 1 smiley

The EYFS and Year 1 children met our community police officer, PC Powell, or as the children said, PC Power😊 He was really kind and let them try on his uniform. It was interesting to look around his police van and listen to the four different types of siren – they were very loud! He even stayed for lunch!

It’s always a magic moment when writing begins in the EYFS✨ We hope you like our Lego models with their labels, explaining what they are and asking others not to touch. Writing for real reasons makes it meaningful and important ✍️

We are settling in beautifully to our new classes. The Year 1 children have been so amazing, helping the new EYFS children to settle in happily. We hope you enjoy just a selection of what we have been up to already!

Watching our caterpillars metamorphosise into butterflies has been amazing. smiley  The caterpillars grew SO quickly!  It was fantastic to see the five butterflies fly away this morning, what a treat! smiley
