  Today at St Mary's we have been crowning Mary the Queen of Heaven.  Thank you to our Year 6 pupils for leading our service and to all of the children who brought in and made flowers.

  Yesterday, we had our first whole school outside Mass of the year for the Ascension. Thank you to all the children who contributed to the Mass and also to Canon Philip for joining us. Next Friday, we look forward to the Crowning of Mary once again on the playground. We pray that we will be lucky enough to have sunshine again!

  We offer our prayers for King Charles as he prepares for his coronation. We pray that you will bless him with wisdom, compassion, and a strong sense of justice, so that he may be a just and fair ruler over our nation.

  We ask that you guide him in all his decisions and give him the courage to do what is right, even in the face of adversity. We also pray that you will give him strength and perseverance as he takes on the responsibilities of his office.

  May his reign be one of peace and prosperity for all people, and may he be a shining example of leadership and service to others. We pray that you will bless him, his family, and all those who serve our nation with him. Amen

• Huge thanks to the amazing staff at The Harbour Garden Cafe for welcoming and treating our EYFS staff and children on Friday. We really are so lucky to live in such a wonderful community. The children have been just fabulous recently and truly deserved their treat🤩
