It was fantastic to be able to get together outside as a whole school on Thursday 6th May 2021, for the first time this year, to recognise Our Mother Mary as Queen of Heaven and Earth as we held our Crowning of Mary Ceremony. Big thanks go to Mrs Lunn for organising everything. Mrs O’Halloran read The Annunciation from St Luke’s Gospel then representatives from each class presented gifts of flowers, prayers and poems as the rest of the school sang Ave Maria. Children from Year 5 then shared prayers and readings with the school. It was a wonderful reminder that, with Mary Our Mother as our patron saint, we are a beautiful community of learners. We have spent a long time apart, but now, slowly and carefully, we are beginning to be able to grow together again.
